Roundhouse Duties!

You may remember when, back in September, I became a blogger for the Roundhouse, London. Well, as part of my duties, I was commissioned to write an article on getting into the advertising industry so I travelled into Central London to interview Renwick McAslan from BBH Advertising. After getting over the initial nerves of my first interview with someone, I managed to carry out a twenty-minutes-long session. Later, I transcribed and edited the interview to then be submitted to the coordinator of the Roundhouse Bloggers' Project. Accomplishments.

Summer is well and truly over. In fact, it had ended over a month ago, but only in the past week have I fully accepted that the weeks of going out in just a t-shirt and shorts are finished for the year. Interview with ‘Sick’ scriptwriter and performer Shey Hargreaves

From hunting down a patient’s lost teeth to witnessing someone turn down potentially life-saving treatment, scriptwriter Shey Hargeaves’ experience of working for the NHS was eye-opening to say the least. Yes, that is a reference to High School Musical and, yes, I am still referencing High School Musical eight years after it came out... But, like Troy met Gabriella, I have just met someone knew: you! So, to introduce myself... Firstly, my name is Florrie. Yep, just Florrie; not Florence, not Florian (I have been called that before), just Florrie. A few weeks ago, dismayed at the fact I'd still never met someone else called Florrie, I googled the history of the name. And, what did I learn?
