BRIT Awards 2015: Who's Going to Win?

This week could be titled The Week of The Awards after it began with the Oscars on Sunday The Brits are coming- or already have arrived, following Eddie Redmayne's win for Best Actor after playing Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything in Hollywood's Dolby Theatre. Tomorrow, some of the world's biggest artists, including Taylor Swift (eeek!) and Ed Sheeran, will be performing on the stage at The O2, London, but who's going to win big at The Brits? British Male Solo Artist Damon Albarn Ed Sheeran George Ezra Paolo Nutini Sam Smith After grabbing not one, not two, but FOUR nominations at The BRITs, it could be argued that Sam Smith is surely the only winner for the award. However, my vote would go to Ed Sheeran for Best Male Solo Artist, after his second album, 'X' overtook Coldplay's 'Ghost Stories' to become the UK's fastest-selling album of 2014 and then became the UK's best-selling album of the same year, selling 1.2 m

12 Problems Only People with Glasses Will Understand

17th May 2008. The day my dreads became reality: I got my first pair of glasses. I'd seen it coming for a few months prior to it, but there was still a part of me clutching on to the idea that perhaps my eyesight was just blurry because of the side effects of some peculiar, undiagnosed illness I'd had. Yeah, I was pretty desperate. However, just because the optician tells you to start wearing glasses, that doesn't mean you to have to, right? ...Wrong, but that's what I did anyway, up until late 2012, when it got to the stage where I felt like my grades were being affected by my near-sightedness.  Don't get me wrong- I don't have anything against glasses-wearers; in fact, I genuinely do believe glasses can look sublime.
